Watermarks that survive a crop
A corner watermark is easy to crop away. Tiling repeats the mark across the whole image, so removing it means destroying the picture. Lower the opacity to keep it unobtrusive.
Sizes are percentages of the image, not fixed pixels, so the same settings look right on a 600px thumbnail and a 6000px original.
Watermarking photos
Use text — with a choice of fonts, weight, colour, outline and shadow — or upload a logo in PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF or SVG. Set the opacity and rotation, and place it on a 9-point grid with a margin, or tile it across the whole image.
Sizes are percentages of each image, so one setting looks the same on a small phone photo and a large camera file. That makes it safe to watermark a whole folder in one batch and download the results as a ZIP.
Transparent PNGs stay PNG by default. You can also export JPG, WebP or AVIF, and save your settings as a preset for next time.
